A couple of weeks ago at the last home game (on Oct. 25th - which was also Tim Tunks' birthday - Happy belated birthday, Tim!), Adam and I stopped by the Young Alumni tent before the game to say hi to a friend and grab some Pluckers grub... (Pluckers is a great wings bar in Dallas, Austin, and Baton Rouge - if you don't know it, check it out!) There we each threw in to a put-your-business-card-in-the-helmet drawing ... and Adam WON! It's a genuine (what the players wear) SMU Mustangs helmet signed by our new coach, June Jones. The helmet provided most of the entertainment for about the first half of the game...

We enjoy going to the SMU games, even when we lose. We are all pretty excited that the team is playing much more like a team already. I think Jones is doing well with the team, and just needs some more time.
It was also Rebecca Clemons' birthday on November 8th! Happy belated birthday to you, too, Rebecca!
