Back into the swing of things...

Not much to report these days... Things are back in full swing in our part of the world: we're both back to work, we're enjoying occasional dinners with friends, and we're watching as much football as we can before it's over for the season! :-)

We're headed to Louisiana this weekend... Many of you know or know of Adam's grandmother, Agnes, who moved to Dallas this summer. Well, her move was pretty sudden, and she hasn't been back since May! Jeanne had worked with some of Agnes' friends in LA to get together a party for her last fall ... scheduled to be just after Hurricane Gustav hit. So, needless to say, things were a bit chaotic in Louisiana at that time, and the party was postponed. Conveniently enough, Agnes' birthday is on January 20th, so the three-day weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend turned out to be a perfect time to reschedule! So, we're off with Jeanne, Tom, and Agnes to a weekend in Louisiana for a Farewell/Birthday party for Agnes and her LA friends. Should be a great time.
