Happy New Year!

Well, again, it's been forever...

Happy New Year to all! We hope you shared a beautiful holiday season with those you love. We were glad to share wonderful times with family and friends.

You should have received our holiday letter, which gave an overview of what a great year 2010 was for us. Here's the nutshell version:
- Adam's enjoying his work at J Alexander Realty Group
- As you've seen on the blog, he's still triathlon-ing
- He's volunteering at CitySquare at an after-school program
- Ship 1000 is still keeping both of us very busy
- My new job at C.C. Young is going well
- Catherine's Pet Care still exists, though hasn't been too busy
- I facilitated a small group through our church in 2010
- We're still enjoying the house :-)
- Travels took us to both Surfside Beach, TX (a Bryan family favorite) and New Orleans (a Tunks family favorite)

I'll post pictures from the weekend we spent in NOLA for Tom's 65th soon. Good times!

We now have our next big trip to look forward to: we've booked travel to go to Guatemala in February! Jeanne & Tom will spend six months there as she studies Central American mathematical teaching approaches and he works on a book and enjoys having retired from SMU's administration. We'll spend a week with them in mid-February.

Until then, Adam's gearing up for another half-marathon at the end of January. He'll spend this weekend in Houston with our Ship kids at a skills training for Sea Scouts from across the southern region. We'll also celebrate Agnes' 80th birthday next week, Corinne's birthday next month, and then head to Guatemala! So life goes: busy, faster every day, and almost always a blast.

Hope you're well! Please drop us a note when you have a minute - we'd love to catch up!
