Agnes moves to Dallas!

Adam's maternal grandmother, Agnes ("Granny"), recently decided to move to Dallas, and she officially moved into her new place yesterday! Well, she's in a temporary (fully furnished) unit now, but she's in her new community, making friends already!

We were getting more and more worried about her safety living on her own in Scott, LA. Her most recent round with doctors may have prompted this decision: she wasn't getting glowing reports and was being more and more limited (i.e. two-mile driving radius). We were so glad that she decided - on her own - to move to Big D!

Since then, things have been moving quickly: the week after she decided to move here, Jeanne was going to bring Agnes to Dallas for a week anyway. She stayed at Jeanne & Tom's house that week, and the three of them visited some communities on Memorial Day. She chose a fantastic place that provides excellent care (and at a great monthly rate), and they signed the dotted line to secure a deal before May 31st! We all (J&T, Agnes, Adam & I) traveled to SC for Caroline's graduation this past weekend, and then yesterday she moved into her new place!

We are so glad to have Agnes in Big D! :-)
