BVI was fun!

For those who may not know, Adam, his parents and I are all adult leaders in a Sea Scout unit. What is Sea Scouts? Under the Boy Scouts of America, there is a co-ed program called Venturing, which is for young adults ages 14 through 20. Within Venturing is a program called Sea Scouts, which is a program about boating. Units (troops) in Sea Scouts are called Ships.

Adam took over for Jeanne as the Skipper (equivalent to Scout Master) of our Ship a couple of years ago. This year under his leadership, the Scouts went on a High Adventure trip to the British Virgin Islands to sail for a week! (I'm SO jealous - I was stuck here in class...)

The trip was a huge success! There were no mishaps, no major injuries (Adam cut his thumb), and everyone got great sea sailing experience. Plus they all had a good time! They said the snorkeling was beautiful, they only had one brief encounter with rain, and everyone got along well.
