Almost Three Weeks - and registry info

It's so hard to believe it's been close to three weeks already since we met Jeremy for the first time!  Time flies... but we are enjoying soaking up every minute.

This week has been a great one: more friends have come by to say hello, Jeremy met his great grandmother Agnes (Granny), he got a great report at the pediatrician (he was 8 lbs, 8 oz at the two-week mark! - that's up almost a full pound from birth!), had his first trips out (other than doctor's appointments), had a photo shoot (we'll share pics when we get them!), and got to meet some of our Sea Scouts friends!  He also now has a social security number and a birth certificate, so - as Adam said - we can now prove that he exists!  :-)

His largest developmental change is that spending a little more time awake and alert these days, which is super fun.

Thank you to all who have asked about gift registries!  We are fortunate to be in a stable place in life, and to have most of our material needs met.  We are most excited about creating great opportunities for Jeremy to learn and grow through experiences.  I've set up a "registry" of our own, here on our blog - click on the "Baby Registry" tab above.  This registry lists various museums and parks to which we'd love to have memberships to help provide some of these learning experiences for Jeremy.  It'd be great if folks would consider these memberships as gifts.  We are also registered at Target and Amazon.com for tangible items.

Thanks to all for the well-wishes and messages!  We're looking forward to introducing Jeremy to family at the upcoming holidays!

Much love...
