A new fish!

I got a new fish! :-)

For those who may not know, I'm a bit of a dog-lover... But Adam's not super keen on the idea of living with a dog (any dog we have will be my dog...), so I'm putting off getting a pup of my own. A while back, I decided I'd get a fish. I had one - a Betta, named Dakota - in college, which was great, and thought it might help my pet-craving. Okay, so here's the part where I'm a total nerd... His name. I really liked Dakota's name, and was stumped for quite a while on what to call this new guy... but it struck me a couple of days ago. (Brace yourself - here comes the nerdiness...) His name is pez. Adam laughed and had the question I imagine you are thinking right now - How did you come up with that?? Well, ... pez means fish in Spanish. :-) Plus, it's a fun, silly name. Generally I think I'll pronounce it like the Austrian candy (had no idea it was Austrian, by the way), rather than the correct Spanish pronunciation... But I like it's sometimes-unknown meaning! :-)
