This past weekend we took a mini-vacation to attend our friends' wedding in Madison, Wisconsin. Adam knew Serenity very well at SMU (and I met her through him). They were both in the scholarship program that Tom oversees there, so Tom and Jeanne know her well also. A great while back we met and came to know and love her now-husband, Karl. So, we all went to Madison to celebrate the beginning of their new life together!
I was excited to see another small garden wedding (as we're getting really close to our own)... and it was everything I want in ours: beautiful, set in nature, intimate... It was fantastic. Below are a few pictures...
Serenity was escorted by her brother, Matthew.
The ceremony was officiated by a fellow Mustang who Serenity knew at school.
It was a GREAT weekend... They both literally glowed all weekend. They are incredibly happy, and we're all very happy for them.
