I have the too-emotional problem: we look at a house, and I start envisioning living there.. and then get emotionally attached to that house. Grrrr! Creates quite a rollercoaster. ... We'll keep you posted on what happens!
In other news, Adam's triathlon training is really gearing up - he's got about 10 weeks to go until the big race. (Adam will complete a Half IronMan triathlon in Phoenix, AZ, on October 25th. For those who don't know [I'm gonna brag a bit here -- this is a pretty big deal], a Half IronMan consists of a 1.2-mile open-water swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 13.1-mile run.) So, of course, there's a lot of training involved in preparation for this type of event. It's exciting, but exhausting to watch - muchless do!
We've also spent a lot of time lately with our Sea Scouts Ship. The marina owners are making some changes to our home-base marina, so we've moved! We're now housed at Chandlers Landing marina, just across the (same) lake (Ray Hubbard) - which is a much nicer marina! All in all it's been a great move for us, but it happened at a crazy time. We moved three of our four boats on August 9th, leaving the fourth with it's lift until we could get marina staff to help us move the lift. The next weekend, the lift didn't get moved after all, there were several boat repairs that had to be handled, and two boy scout troops camped at the marina and sailed with us Saturday night and Sunday morning! It made for quite a crazy weekend (complete with motor trouble). Crazy weekend last weekend...
All in all, life goes on... Busy as usual, but still lots of fun! Hope you're all well.
