Jeremy's Dedication

This past Sunday was a very special Mothers' Day in our family: we participated in a child dedication ceremony at our church!  We were honored to have a large group of family and friends join us for the ceremony and/or a celebratory lunch at Sonny Bryan's afterward.  It was a wonderful day!

In our church, we dedicate children as a group twice each year, at Christmas time and on Mothers' Day.  Parents pledge to love and nurture their children to be ethical and moral people. The church membership pledges to challenge and inspire them as they grow.  The children are each blessed with a rose dipped in water.
